No New Xbox ThisYear

Microsoft announcement that they have no plan to mention the next generation of Xbox in E3 this year. Why? You ask, well Chris Morris writes why in Next Xbox No-Show: Why Microsoft’s keeping Durango Under warps

He said “The games aren't ready - While everyone knew the next Xbox was in the works, Microsoft didn't start its road show for the new system until early this year. That's when developers got their first look at what was underneath the hood of Durango and what it could do.

While work may have been underway preliminarily at that point on launch titles for the next generation, teams haven't had much time to prepare them for the final (or near final) specs. And given how much competition has increased in the gaming space in the last few years, the new consoles are going to have to wow people right out of the gate. To ensure that happens, Microsoft knows it's better to wait until the games are closer to being done.”

 He also said “Why shoot yourself in the foot? - The Xbox 360 is still a powerful force at retail. While the Wii was already starting to flounder when Nintendo announced the Wii U, Microsoft doesn't face the same sort of pressure to please investors.

With this year's strong software lineup, announcing the looming arrival of a new Xbox could be confusing to shoppers during the holiday season and cost the company tens of millions of dollars.”

Mop is not going to be free :(

The beta for Mists of Pandaria will be coming shortly, and sadly I don’t think that it’s going to be free. Previse I have talk about how the MoP was going to be free from people playing the beta and getting their fill from it, and not buying the game after the beta is done with. I even said in a previse blog “I am worried about how they’re going to lunch the beta. With a million players wanted to play the beta, how is Blizzard going to lunch the beta without severs crashing (If this beta works like the other betas that Blizzard has had before)? “Unfortunately this beta so not going to be like other betas that blizzard has had before, instead it seems they are going to invite player to the beta in waves. I also said “So how is Blizzard going to get those millions of players to buy the expansion after they burned through all the content in the beta? Well I think the best thing they can do is to make the expansion free.”  Well actually it looks like the best they can do is, don’t let players burn thorough all the content in the beta. I still think if this beta was like cata's beta,it would of been free.   

Mass Effect 3 refunds

There a stories going around that Mass Effect 3 players are getting refunds currently from Origin and Amazon, because they were not happy with the game ending. I just have to say a couple of thing about this. First thing is that it makes me mad that you would refund a game just because the ending was bad, and trust me, I know the ending in MassEffect3 was bad, but still that doesn’t mean you should get to return it. Second thing Origin and Amazon better fix is before other player social engineer the crap out of this. The way I see it, and I think other people well too is that ,if you get a full refund on a game that you have completely beaten, that just a free game, and plus don’t  forget about BioWare, they need the money to make other game like SWTOR (Star War: The Old Republic) ,and Dragon Age. So Origin and Amazon stop give out refunds. Third thing is that I just wanted to total agree on Jeseth comment on an article about this topic he said “This whole Mass Effect stuff is pathetic. This gen has created and developed the most whiny, spoiled, bratty, and childish "gamers" ever.

Its an awesome game. Could the ending(s) have been different? Sure. But the ending they chose, they chose for a reason .. their reason. Complaining about the Mass Effect 3 ending is like complaining to an artist because they didn't use the colors you wanted. But its not up to you, or me. They are telling their story.

Find something more productive to waste your time and energy on instead of crying over the ending to a freaking video game.” I couldn’t say it better myself.   

PS4 lauch games line-up

Okay so, I know what you’re thinking, PS4? I know that the PS4 haven’t be officially be announced yet, but according to psu.com they are 99.9% certain that some of the games that they list will be” Flying  the flag for Sony’s new console when it launches in the next couple of years. “They also said they’re “Super confident that the PS4 will boast the strongest launch line-up we’ve seen for any console.” So I wanted to talk about  some of the games on the list and my thoughts on them, but keep in mind that some games listed may not all make it on the PS4 line up or may not even be released, so take it with a grain of salt.

Okay so the first game I wanted to talk on the list is Deus Ex Human Revolution 2. Now I think this game well be great on the PS4 line up, just because it a pretty long game to beat. People well finish this game by the time a really big release comes, so that can entertain them till that happens. The next games I wanted to talk about is Blizzard’s next-gen MMO Titan. I not sure why this is even on the list, a MMO on a starting line up on a console would be awesome, but I don’t think this is going to happen for many reason ,and if  I list them all ,I going to write a book, so let’s just move on. The games that I thought were going to be to awesome on the list would be Metal Gear Solid 5, Assassin’s Creed 4, Need for speed , and Uncharted 4 , these games will give a good familiar range of games to start with. For the other games on the list am not sure what to think about them.     

Elder Scrolls MMO

Could there be an Elder Scrolls MMO? Well there’s rumors saying there going to be. According to Tom’s Hardware, Bethesda is bringing one of their biggest game series into the MMO franchise, and they’re calling it Elder Scrolls Online. The official announce on Elder Scrolls Online will be in May 2012, which will most likely to be at E3

 Elder Scrolls Online will be set over a thousand years before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the Elder scroll timeline, this means that this Elder Scrolls game well start way before any other Elder Scrolls. There will be three playable Factions in Elder Scrolls Online, but the only thing known about the factions is that each faction has an animal representing it: A lion, a dragon, and a bird of prey.

Now I know that an Elder Scrolls MMO sounds really cool, but I am coinsured about the gameplay. Am not sure how an Elder Scrolls game is going to fit in a MMO format if the MMO is going to be like previses Elder Scroll games. For example previses Elder Scroll games have a reputation to be a first person view game , and I don’t think that first person type of MMO would work ,and If they take the first person view out of the game, the game won’t feel like an Elder Scrolls game. So I just hope that they can make being in first person view to fit in the MMO and that this is not rumor causes I want to see how the game is, but I guess we will see in May.     

Diablo 3 is coming out

I  find it ironic that I was just talk about Diablo 3 yesterday, and how I was saying I don’t know if they had a release date or not. Well right when I got home you can guess what I saw. Diablo 3 is coming out on May 15^th. I have been waiting for this game for 4 years, and now it’s coming out less than two months from now. I think they could announce the release date like 5 months ago but, that’s just me.

Diablo 3 can be pre-order and you still get Diablo 3 free if you bought the Wow’s annual pass. Also Diablo 3 well come in a digital version and a physical version with the standard edition being $60, and the collector’s edition being $100.The collector’s edition comes with a behind the scenes Blue-ray/DVD set, a soundtrack, an art book, and a awesome looking USB stick that includes the previses game Diablo 2, corresponding base, and exclusive new in-game content for the new release.

Diablo 3 well be available for both Windows and Mac. Unfortunately some countries like Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico, you won’t have the physical copy, but you can download the digital copy.               

Diablo 3 console version

As we all might know Blizzard has been making PC games for about 15 years now, with game like World of Warcaft, StarCraft, and Diablo, now let’s talk about Diablo. Diablo is a fantasy action-role-playing game, and so far Blizzard has made three Diablo games. First they made the original Diablo that came in 1996. Then they made an expansion pack for the original Diablo called Diablo: Hellfire which was released in 1997.Finally they made Diablo 2 in 2000, which sold over a million copies. Now Blizzard is currently in the making of Diablo 3, now let’s talk about Diablo 3.

Diablo 3 was announced on June 2008, and ever since then Diablo fans have been waiting for this game. I know that its 2012 now, and it’s still not out yet, but keep in mind that games take time to make. Blizzard is actually almost done with Diablo 3; they have been in beta testing for a while now, but still no release date as far as I know.

Now here’s what I really want to talk about, Blizzard has been taking about releasing a console version of Diablo 3, but only if it feel like nature with a console controller. Now I know that Blizzard has released the original Diablo in console form for PlayStation, but I don’t know if that was as successful as the PC version, but I guessing that it wasn’t. Besides all that I think that  Diablo could be one of the biggest console release yet, just from the fact that more people have consoles than gaming PC ,and that consoles cost less than a gaming PC. Also if Diablo 3 becomes a console hit, we could see Blizzard doing more console games, which in my opinion would be awesome!
